The Jam's one week away today. Managed to book a few days off work this week to get some of the ramp building shit organised. Blagging a sponsor for the event hasn't gone to plan so far, although if we ever have an a10 jam, then i've got a big trails-only sponsor on board. We were walking through Co-op and Olly was taking the piss out of my bmx. He said you need to get a real bike as we neared the entrance. He added i'll show you a real bike walking round the corner pointing at his bike minus a back wheel!

At this point Jarmin had a ROFL.

Yes. Some cunt, some time between 8 and 10 o'Clock on October the 15th, outside Bengeo Co-Op, ran up, skiddled around, did a shit and ate it and then stole my back wheel (which, unlike my front, is a quick release wheel). So, if you see George Game going around with a stolen wheel, BEAT HIM UP AND GET IT BACK. Well, it was not definately George Game, thats just who it probably was.

Wheel Description : 26" Rims. Halo Tornado (Black with grey writing) quick release single speed.

Features : Halo 32mm Tornado rims with eyelets.
Black ED 14g spokes and black nipples. Race optimised 32H front, 36H rear spoking. Universal QR or 20mm SB front hub. Sealed bearing Disc rear hub.

I am going up Co-Op to look at CCTV footage tomorrow, so maybe then I will find the wanker who stole my wheel. In the mean time, I would appritiate you lot keeping your eyes peeled. Thank you!

Frame: Inertia Hades 20.6. Custom spray job straight outa the box.
Fork: Failure
Brake lever: Odyssey Monolever medium with stripped out barrel thread. Looking to grab the new Fly lever.
Brake: Classic hombre, set up with carbon fibre brake pads and an animal linear cable
Pedals: Gusset slim Jims sealed. All pedals are too easy to destroy, but these have held up best despite having to do regular maintenance.
Cranks: Odyssey standards with DK bottom bracket after i twisted the original doing silly shit.
Bars: Sunday Vinnies. If we ever get a trails season i may switch back to my Metal Sasquatches
Grips: Hoffman mushrooms
Sprocket: Mankind chrome
Chain: standard road bike chain, so much better than all this interlock BS
Rear Wheel: Mocha G-sport rim, laced onto a Proper 10 tooth cassette
Front wheel: Henry's old profile hub on a sun rim. shit idea buying this with all the peg use.
Tyres: Odyssey aitkn front, probably the same on the rear.
Saddle: Macneil pivotal
Seatpost/clamp: Currently a piece of DMR MTB bullshit that's so poorly designed it needs sawing in half. soon to add a shim to run my old kink post. Inertia seat clamp.
Headset: Standard issue 45/45 internal Inertia headset
Extras: Pegs forever. i think they're primo, but it's hard to tell. Various stickers including space invaders on the handlebar.

Here is a little idea I came up with. Mark will probably slate me for it but its to try and get a few more people interested in ascension bmx and to try and get a few more people involved in us as well. Keep the community alive!

To re-clarify the rules: Rider(s) must be ascension riders (or locals etc.) and the photo must be yours and an original as well. Photos will be judged on lighting, angles and camera work as well as the tricks performed. Send you images to either info@ascensionbmx.com or use the photo submission form on the photography page. Entries are due in August the 5th, so get snapping!

New layout is up and running. A more summery colour scheme and some text links at the bottom of the page for better usability. Started working on getting the photography page to look better as well as sorting out the products page. Added a few more images into various pages such as the about page to make it slightly less dull and boring.

Here is a little video I made last spring and never got around to putting on the site. Its not very good and I made it in a day, but its something to use up space!

I have also fixed a few little errors such as the submission form and image uploader so thats all working now. If you experience any problems in the new layout, please let ascensionbmx know so we can sort it out for you. Feedback in book!!!

Race begins at top of Foxholes hill and any route can be taken to Hertford North.
Zoo York recently did this through rush hour traffic resulting in anarchy. Moye is predicted to win our version. Put on your biggest sprockets and try to beat him.
